Lake Coeur d’Alene is one of the most vibrantly beautiful places I have ever experienced.
This photo of a peaceful winter sunset by the resort was captured to show the world how wonderful this area really is. I don’t mind if you fall in love with Coeur d’Alene and it’s inspiring lake, but don’t ruin it by moving here and changing it into a city. Ya know what I mean? 🙂
The lake as been one of the best things that ever happen to me emotionally. In the summer I would ride my bike around its scenic byway. I would take photos of it year ’round. When I needed to have a moment of quiet time I would sit by the edge and listen to the waves gently caress the shore as I prayed and connect with God again. My family would come down and play in the sand and then play in the bright green grass of the city park. During the fourth of July, thousands upon thousands of people would show up for an afternoon of BBQing with the family topped by an amazing fireworks show. The winter wasn’t left out either. The Christmas lighting is a real joy and just as exciting.
This is why I would take photos of lake Coeur d’Alene. This is why I want to take more photos of the lake too.
